Veterinarian
Tara joined the Fur Life Vet Yarrawonga team in early 2024 after relocating back to Victoria from Western Australia with her husband and two young daughters. She holds a degree in Veterinary Biology and Veterinary Science with Honours from Charles Sturt University, graduating in 2010 after completing a research thesis on wound healing in horses.
With a background in rural mixed practice across New South Wales and Western Australia, Tara has cared for a wide variety of animals over the years—from farm stock to family pets. This broad experience has shaped her into a well-rounded and adaptable veterinarian.
Now based near the Murray River, Tara is enjoying the shift in focus to small animal medicine and the opportunity to get to know the local community. She values the strong bonds formed with both pets and their people, and she’s embracing the lifestyle that comes with being back in the region she calls home.
